I booked a ticket on 01/03/2022 from CCU to Delhi from a website named Travolook. The payment got deducted from my bank account linked to Google pay and I got a mail which says that the booking will be confirmed within 30 min. The reference I’d for the same is REF203094404. A travolook agent called me and told that the booking was cancelled because Air India declined the booking request and the refund will be initiated within 7-10 working days. I called Air India and asked if they have declined the booking request, they told me that they have not got any booking for my name. I googled about the company and got to know that Travolook is a fraud company. People have been scammed this same way and they are waiting for their refund since months.
I have also raised the issue through the grievances portal. Also, I visited the Bank branch today. I even contacted Google Pay and raised a complaint.
I kindly request you to look into the matter and help me to get my money back.
The amount deducted is ₹3552
