I had book a car from “Puri Beach Tour& travells”, new marrin drive puri for local site scean (chilka & alarnath temple) during the time of booking total service time had been commited by the traveller about 7-8 hrs (up&down 2-3hrs & boating &temple visit 5-6hrs).
Complaints are follows:
1. Driver reported 1hrs late at 10am instead of 9am.
2. Driver were forced us to book a single boat by paying 4,800/- (we were two person only), but we didn’t listen his woard, rather we found a family of 7nos and we requested them to allow us to join with them. On our request, this decent family allow us to join with them and issued 1 ticket from the ticket issuing authority for total 9 members accomulatly for amounting to Rs.6,800/- for 4 hrs. After that we board on boat bouding to chilka. In the mean time our idiot driver informed to the ticket counter that we board on the boat with sharing basis with another family just for shake of the commission from the ticket issuing authority as he could not make his commision from my deal, and our boat got return back and forced us(2person) to un-board from the boat. So that I could not visit chilka and trip got spoiled by the driver. Then we return back 2-3hrs before but travell agent taken the full amount payment from us.
On this incident, I lost my trust from the tour&travellers of puri and the administrative system of chilka boating authority. I would request to the local authority to interven in this matter immediately and take appropriate action to save the tourists from this money extraction process of travellers &driver. I am sharing driver name and ph number below also attaching my booking receipt for ref.
