Hi,
I took jio fiber connection on Aug 1 2022. I took prepaid connection for Rs.5306 on Aug 3 2022. After completing a month, I received a bill of Rs.456. I shocked to see the bill. So I asked my connection person named Manjunath, her said to contact costumer care. I contacted costumer care, they told me to just pay for this month aloan. So being from IT firm, I forced to pay so that I could do my job. At last I paid the amount of Rs. 456 on 19th oct 2022. Same issue happened for this month(november) also. I requested to pay the amount of Rs.590 with in 20 nov 2022. Actually this time I am not gonna pay that amount. Why should I pay this amount even I am not using any OTT platforms in my busy schedule. So I contacted both the connection provided man and costumer care as well. Same story they told!!! I raised a complaint in jio fiber but no response from them. Definitely i need my refund amount back.
Is there any law to protect consumers by these type of fraudsters n traps. Need a justice.
