Dear sir ,
1. I’m have booked the tickets to Lucknow to trivandrum bearing booking id 13049954611 and pnr YJPRW.
2. I tried to do web check-in for the same on 27 Mar 21 at about 1700h and found in air India website that the booking id cannot be retrieved. Followed by that I called up air india customer care and they informed me that there is no tickets issued on this pnr and my booking is not acknowledged by the air india.
3. Inview of above I called up Paytm customer care flight department and raised the issue. My issue was not resolved by the first customer rep and was escalated to mr Anil. Still in vain. Followed by that there was no advise given to me nor any action was taken from Paytm side to resolve my issues.
However I also place on record that I have never faced this kind of issue with Paytm till now and I’m fully satisfied with services of Paytm till now baring this incident.
4. I have booked the tickets in paytm and got a booking id and PNR YJPRW for total booking amount of RS 20658/-. However the tickets where not acknowledged by airlines – air india. The customer care accepted this in the recorded line and assured me with the full refund of rs 20658/- However i got only Rs 5980/- The balance amount rs 14678/- is still not credited to my account.
5. Also since this is the lapse from Paytm – airlines side I would like to request that Paytm may grant me with the loss rs 6709/- which I incurred by booking a fresh tickets one day prior to travel from air india website to ensure safe travel , other than the psychological trauma I gone through on the day of travel with a toddler in hand.
6. I have exhausted all the greivances mechanism of the paytm and even visited the nodal grievance officer at address given in the website One 97 communication B121 sector 5 noida 20131, but i came to know that the office is shifted to some unknown place. this shows poor grievance mechanism of paytm The relevant complaints lodged in paytm care and paytm complaint cell and NOdal officer is attached herewith for perusal and necessary action.
