I had booked air ticket from Bagdogra to Delhi for 03 Sep 2022 from AirIndia App. On reaching airport i was told that the ticket is invalid as there was only PNR number on the ticket and no ticket number. I showed them the detailed pdf which I had received from the app where ticket details were mentioned showing deducted amount and tax amount deducted. AirIndia Staff asked me to complaint at customer care. Running short of time, I had to book another airline ticket which costed me twice the price. Later while raising complaint at customer care, Gopal Singh denied any fault of airIndia and blamed me for not checking ticket number and miles deduction from my account. I had also received a SMS from airIndia regarding timings of the flight. This is not justified, as a customer I had booked ticket from the app, if there is any error then AirIndia should call or message me. How can I guess that ticket number and PNR relevance is different.
