I would like to lodge a complaint regarding an incident of online blackmail and extortion carried out through social media platforms.
An unknown person created a fake Facebook profile under the name Anjali Agrawal and sent a friend request. After accepting the request, the person initiated conversations and later requested a WhatsApp call. During the video call, they persuaded and pressured me to appear naked on camera. The entire video was secretly recorded without my consent.
Subsequently, a man claiming to be the husband of the woman started calling and threatening me. He stated that he would send the recorded videos to my family members and friends if I did not deposit money into his bank account. This is a clear case of blackmail and extortion.
I request you to kindly investigate this matter at the earliest and take strict action against the individuals involved. I am ready to provide all relevant details, including phone numbers, screenshots, bank account details, and any other information required for the investigation.
