Today I have got postpaid data card service from Airtel store room at Madurai located at 6B Vinayagar building ,Vinayagar nagar KK Nagar Madurai 625020.The number alotted to me is 7538839444.
As matter of your procedure your company appointed third party administrators called me from 9042262501 identity mentioned as Bank verification and asked about my details.As I have produced my aadhar card which is authentication of my address and I’d proof.
When there are several frauds are taking place why should I answer to an unknown person.How do I know that he is from Airtel.
When I asked about it he spoke to me in an indecent manner.I reported the matter to your store manager.
I am former police officer and served as GM and Advisor for SBI as fraud monitoring .Presently practicing as an Advocate.
I would like to report the matter for immediate action.
I would like to take up the matter to consumer rights forum and also would like to report the matter to DOT also.
Is it not the infringement of intruding the privacy of customer over phone whose identity is not known to us.
Otherwise it should have been intimated to us that there is verification process is involved after I gave my I’d proof.
If Airtel want to look at the customers on suspicious angle let them send their verification team to my home after due intimation from their office and inform the name of the person who will visit my home for verification.
