Hello,
Recently I went to the Airtel store (TC no 20, 2413, Dist, Kalpalayam Junction, Karamana, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala 695002) to transfer the ownership of my SIM from my office back under my name.
I got the NOC from my office, went to the Airtel store to get the job done. I had to wait for almost a few hours and then they mentioned that we were unable to process the request as there is a “BACKEND ERROR”. So they asked me to come back again. The next day my UPC expired so I had to send a request to my office for another copy of the NOC. I got it delivered within 2 days.
Again I went to the store, this time they managed to disconnect my number but they were still unable to provide me with a new SIM card.
The SIM they deactivated is my primary SIM (which I had been using for the last 12 years) where my Bank Accounts, Aadhar, PAN etc are linked. I am unable to even make an online transaction.
I have been following up with them for almost 1 month. This is very much frustrating, everytime I call them they come up with one or the other excuse.
I have already spent a considerable amount of time and effort behind this with no use whatsoever.
I request you to please take immediate action on the matter.
