Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to address a concerning issue regarding my experience with the Unity Gaming App, specifically concerning cash payouts promised on the platform.
It has come to my attention that the conduct of the Unity Gaming App may be in violation of the following statutory provisions:
Consumer Protection Act: Relevant Statute Code/Number: In Hong Kong, the Consumer Council oversees consumer protection matters. The relevant statutes may include the Trade Descriptions Ordinance (Cap. 362) and the Sales of Goods Ordinance (Cap. 26), among others. These laws aim to protect consumers from misleading claims, unfair trade practices, and breaches of contract in commercial transactions.
Upon engaging with the Unity Gaming App, it has become evident that there might be potential violations of consumer protection statutes, such as those outlined in the Trade Descriptions Ordinance and the Sales of Goods Ordinance in Hong Kong. The discrepancy between promised cash payouts and the failure to honor these commitments raises concerns about adherence to consumer protection laws.
Upon engaging with the gaming platform, I have encountered multiple instances where the promised cash payouts, as clearly articulated on the platform’s Queue option, have not been fulfilled. Furthermore, my PayPal account has been subjected to several charges that have not expedited the aforementioned payouts, contrary to the representations made within the platform’s guidelines and policies.
This discrepancy between the assurances provided on the gaming site and the actual execution of cash rewards has led to a substantial level of dissatisfaction and a sense of misled expectations on my part. The lack of clarity and the failure to honor the stated commitments have caused severe inconvenience and financial strain.
Hence, I demand immediate rectification of this issue by refunding the charged amounts back into my PayPal account, as required by the aforementioned statutory provisions related to fraud, consumer protection, and deceptive acts. The persistent misinformation and non-adherence to the promised payout structure constitute a severe breach of trust, making the cash reward system excessively misleading and creating an atmosphere of extreme misconception for users like myself.
I wish to resolve this matter amicably and promptly. Please provide a comprehensive response within 10 business days confirming the reimbursement of the charges made on my account and a clear explanation regarding the delays in the payout process, in compliance with the aforementioned statutory provisions.
If this matter is not resolved satisfactorily, I may have no choice but to seek further recourse through relevant consumer protection agencies or legal avenues, invoking the provisions stated above, to ensure fair resolution and uphold my rights as a user.
I trust that you will treat this issue with the utmost urgency and provide a swift and just resolution, as mandated by the applicable statutory laws.
