I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against Unacademy regarding the persistent and unsolicited phone calls I have been receiving from their representatives. Despite my clear and repeated communication that I am not interested in subscribing to their courses, they continue to call me incessantly.
Details of the Issue:
Unsolicited Calls: I have been receiving calls from Unacademy representatives on a daily basis, urging me to subscribe to their courses. These calls are intrusive and disruptive to my daily routine.
Repeated Requests to Stop: On multiple occasions, I have explicitly told the callers that I am not interested in their services and have requested them to remove my number from their calling list. Unfortunately, these requests have been completely ignored.
Blocking Numbers: In an attempt to stop these calls, I have blocked numerous phone numbers from which these calls originate. However, Unacademy continues to call me using new numbers every day, making it impossible for me to avoid their harassment.
Privacy Violation: This relentless calling is not only a nuisance but also a violation of my privacy. I did not consent to be contacted in this manner, and the continuous calls are causing undue stress and frustration.
I have verbally communicated my disinterest and requested to be removed from their call list multiple times. I have blocked several phone numbers used by Unacademy to contact me, yet they persist in calling from new numbers.
I demand:
1. an immediate cessation of all calls from Unacademy to my phone number.
2. a formal apology from Unacademy for the inconvenience and harassment caused.
I urge the Consumer Complaints Court to take appropriate action against Unacademy to prevent them from harassing other consumers in a similar manner.
