faced a scam in telegram. Initially they contacted in WhatsApp telling this “Hello… My Name is Receptionist – KIA
I’m an HR Associate at Omnicom Group and I saw your resume on the job board. Are you still looking for job?” After responding they will give a small task like subscribe to a You-tube channel and get 50rs. Then they will ask to contact their receptionist in telegram and follow the instructions. Receptionist will add you to the group where tasks will be assigned. Everything will be fine initially later come a prepaid task where u have to pay 1000 and get 1300 .. u will get that(this is to gain ua trust) later comes another prepaid group task where u have to invest 12000 minimum… You u will be assigned a Teacher he will guide what to do. He will send a UPI id or a/c no. u have to pay the amount 12k to that and send screenshot. Later he will give a link it’s a cryptos link. There it shows 12000rs in your account and he asks to invest and wait for the time to get loaded. Then later after sometime it will be 15000 in your account in the crypto page. Later he will give second round task where u must invest 50K minimum.. if u want to back-out the he tells this “If you are unable to complete your assignment, the merchant will disqualify you from the job and donate your funds to charity.” … We will and pay 50K and perform task now he will tell like he will check if merchant is giving another order in that order it will be minimum 1.5 Lakh now there game starts “pay or lose money” … These kind of fraud is going on don’t get into this … It’s one bad day of my whole life. I don’t know why I did this…. If anyone can help pls help us out. I need my money back, I Need help on this case, Kindly took this complaint, like this so many companies are making scam on individual person life with help of techy
Same happened with me and I happened to play till 5 L ans realise it a scam now. I asked the prrof from receptioniat then she shared the image below for company proof. Also there are other scam going on I reached a person who himself notify that he is part of cybercrime ( Anil- his number – +91 90008 82760) and helped me to regain this amount back and aked me to pay 15 k as tax later identity that he is also a scammer utilizing the situation, be aware.
