Text of Complaint by Kailash Chandra Maharana:

My tatasky ID- 1237351620.

My Tatasky set top box was showing red color in standby mode. Therefore i called customer care regarding this. They suggested to make a visit of technician. I asked, how much will it take for visit and set top box replacement? They said A total of 525 will be charged. Therefore i was provided with WO no # 1-2XB10DJK. A technician came and tried to sale new HD connection for which i denied and asked to replace just set top box. He said that he is also having defected set top box. New set top box may come 2 to 5 days, otherwise if i want he will install HD set top box. For which i denied again. I received a call from service center saying that the set top box will going to come from Cuttack, Odisha hence it may take 3 days. I requested them to service pause my account. She said that since it a problem from their end therefore they will going to service pause my account for 1 week. I agreed. On 23rd June they installed the new set top box. I asked to whom shall i pay 525 rs. He asked to give him and he will recharge my account and the money will be deducted from that account. I paid him as he was from tatasky. Next day i got a message that Rs 425 is been recharged in my account. I didn’t understand why it is not been submitted 525. I thought it was company’s internal matter.

But on 28th June i received a message that Rs 650 is been charged for my WO no # 1-2XB10DJK. So i called customer care number again. They said they have charged relocation charges. This is what i didn’t understand. They said that they will arrange a callback from their senior which i will be receiving on the same day. From 28th June till 3rd July i was waiting for the call. They call me on sunday i.e., 4th July 2021. The person was rude he said that i need to pay all the due amount which is been charged. What he can do is he will deduct 50 rs as a good faith. I said the problem is from your end why shall i have to pay your relocation charges.

Therefore i need justice. Please help me to so that i can resume my service without any additional charges.
