Sub: Supply of new set top box Dear sir, Today I found set top box of My TV (ID no 1211686512)is out of order and accordingly lodge a request through help line to replace the same with New set within sealed cover.
I also requested to bring and hand it over to me to avoid his entrance in my room for spread of community transmission of virus. At least ten persons came in different time and I have to utter my full address. I was told from your helpline that Rs 1199/- would be required which would be adjusted from my account where more than Rs 3000/- is lying as balance.
The technician (mob . NO 8609248143) told that they would not supply new set . Since the present set is within warranty period , only old and repaired set would be available, after that new set would be supplied.
I AM CONFUSED. The technician and his superior told that help line personnel are ignorant about details of set top box,they are the final authority and as such I am bound to listen to them..
SIR, I AM NOT A BEGGAR,BUT A CUSTOMER .No rule should be above life of a human being. Considering the present crisis my request would be to help us all to keep and maintain ourselves social distancing.If I failed to connect, the loss would be incurred by me.I assure no fault will be of TATA SKY.
I request you to supply new set top box and hand it over to me and asked the technician to help through video conference , if possible .
KINDLY CONSIDER THE PANDEMIC SITUATION very seriously and extend your help. Even if Telemedicine is now possible why not set top box? Extend your help and think the prevailing situation.
