I have been calling Tatasky and even talking to the support on the chat from May 28th, every time I call, the first time I was told my account is deactivated and I can come back after various calls and chats saying. I do not want to keep the account, as I am moving out of the country, and now I have been told I need to pay Rs100 as a cancellation fee. else they will not cancel.
When I asked them for a contract or any documentation where it has been mentioned about the cancellation they do not have an answer. However, they did hang up on me because I had been asking questions related to a DTH consumer act.
I wonder what can be done in this case. Should I reach out to the consumer court or the modi grievance cell for the resolution? This is harassment. As a consumer, we should have access to decide when to start and end our services.
