I raised a complaint with Tata Sky Customer Care that the Set Top box was restarting intermittently and it is annoying while watching the TV. They sent a technician and he said that the set top box needs to be replaced. He replaced the set top box with the new one and asked me to call him if the issue is not resolved. The issue reproduced within 5 mins he left my home. I called him thrice on his mobile but he didn’t answer my call. The next day Tata Sky charge my 550 rupees for resolving the issue which was not resolved. They charged 400 for set top box and 15o as service charges. Mean while I tried using another adapter at my house to plug in the set top box. It is working perfectly with my adapter. So the problem is not the set top box but it was the adapter. So I called the customer care and asked to return the old set top box and refund my amount. But they reluctant to refund my amount. Instead they were also asking me to recharge my account again with additional amount.
Instead of resolving the problem, the technician was acting like a sales guy selling their products. I want Tata Sky to take responsibility and refund my amount. I also want compensation for wasting my valuable time. I also want to move to another service provider since the way they handled this complaint is pathetic. Hence I want them to pay the original charges that were paid during initial set up.
Please consider my complaint and take proper action on the people involved and help the consumers so that these kind of issues won’t be repeated by these kind of companies. Thank you.

Tatasky deducted amount by adding their Tatasky services without getting consent. They just enquired about signal drop complaint and asked whether the problem was solved to the satisfaction and then asked me to share the o t p. Then only I came to know they have added me to Tamil cinema deducting 25 rupees and also there is no option in their web account to deselect it. My subscriber I’d 1092990348.
Please stop such ways collecting money from customers. I didn’t expect this from Tata group .
The issue was resolved on the same day to my satisfaction. I got quick response for my complaint and they have solved the issue to my full satisfaction. I got multiple calls from executives to enquire about the issue. I appreciate the service regarding solving complaints.
