Text of Complaint by Harinder Verma:

Tata sky dish was installed at my residence by the Engineer about one month back. However, problem arose and the channels were not properly enjoyed.

Complaint lodged, no response for 7-8 days. Grounds taken the engineers are not available. After 8 days, another engineer comes and he says that there was no proper signal for dish antenna and the dish was then installed at other place.

However, to the utter surprise, the company has deducted amount of Rs. 300/- on account of replacing the dish, though the services were to be provided free of costs for one year or more as disclosed by distorting and manipulating the true facts.

The facility of dish closed on the ground that amount of Rs. 300/- has been deducted and we have to recharge the dish. Shocked to know that when it was fault of Engineer by not installing the dish at proper place, how amount can be charged for re installation.

This shows that the officials of the Company at Shimla are only worried to install the dish and sell the same at the costs of customers without adhering that the same was properly installed or not.

Amount of Rs. 2,900/- or Rs. 3,000/- was given to the Engineer at the initial stage, but no receipt was issued and asked to take the receipt from the office. When amount paid on the spot, the receipt was required to be issued at the same place.

The Engineer coming for installation at the initial stage has not used his wires as the wires were already fitted. Thus, I am not satisfied with the services of this Company.

The complaint also lodged at Chandigarh office. In case no result, consumer complaint for unfair trade practice and proper services and also for causing unnecessary mental harassment.
