I am complaining against the extra charges asked for set-top box and other expertise.
We made a recharge payment of Rs. 221 on 20th May 2020 and today it gets deactivated without any reason.
A few days back there was an issue created in the network and due to which we made a call to the service provider and an executive came along to check upon the initials.
The problem gets resolved and he replaced the set top box confirming that there will be no charges for the set top box as it was on warranty period.
Although we have been told that there will be no charges for the visiting and repairing services still they have charged us Rs. 400 for set top box which is under warranty period and Rs.150 as a visiting charge.
Also, our account has been deactivated without giving a prior notice for the same. We came to know about this matter when our account (ID-1299140671) gets deactivated suddenly and after that, we make a call to the customer care service number- 1800 208 6633 today at 09:51 AM in the morning and Rahul was the name of the executive who attended the call and due to lack of knowledge for solving the issue which has been created from their side, he transferred the call to his senior Mr. Rakesh.
We were kept on hold for too long and the conversation took around 33 minutes and 12 seconds without any solution and he gave us our customer complaint number i.e. 2433T930 verbally and told that we will be getting a call from their backend service team till 3rd June 2020 and no confirmation text has been received till now.
Hence, we requested to them to reverse the extra charges asked for the visiting services and set top box and activate the tata sky account asap.
