Last year I was contacted by Tata sky personal and offered one year package. They told me that the same channels will be available for next one year without any change irrespective of changes in tariff or any other reason. Now my package has been changed. This is simply violation of contract.

Hi, as per TRAI direction, following the new Tariff order, service providers will migrate their customers to the best fit plan carrying their key current channels. This process is being done in a phased manner every day to migrate the millions of customers by the 31st March. Each customer has the option of changing their channels and packs at any point in time, before or after the migration.
