I also faced similar issues. Even though I lost Rs 299/- but felt like cheated as the customer care executive disabled my binge service on my request on 19-Sep (where I was not explained that the charges have been already taken from my balance on 16-Sep). Now as it was there fault and miscommunication, they must reactivate my binge service without any additional charge for the period upto when I have already paid the charges. I don’t understand the logic why someone would not use a service if he has already paid the charges in advance. This is clearly case of cheating the customer and getting business out of fraudulent practice.
Few suggestions to Tata sky:
1. No secure mechanism like OTP verification for activation of Tata sky binge service from settop box.
2. No clear indication on the menu to know that the binge service is active.
3. Charge for binge service is Rs.299/- per month. Once service is deactivated they charge the consumer again 299/- on reactivation of service even though for the same period.
4. The binge service gets auto renewed, user don’t have any choice to disable auto renewal at the time of subscribing to the service.

They installed fire stick without enquiring if I have a wifi service. They said if not in use they will take the set up back. But without even asking they deducted 299 from my account. Though in all the service calls I requested to take it back as it’s of no use to me but they told me that I’ll be informed before extending the service I’ll get call. But didn’t received any such call. I feel cheated
