Text of Complaint by S. Palaniappan:

I have recharged Tata play on 06-Oct-21 for 12 months. They have deducted Rs. 299/- continuously for 5 months from 15-Oct-21 for binge services without my consent. Although, I have stopped the binge services, customer care is stating that that you didn’t communicated to the appropriate team (binge team). Now they are not reversing it and service got disconnected. I have raised complaint with customer care and then with nodal officer but in vain.

I have done recharge for 12 months and not for binge services.
My queries are:
1. Why did you give binge services forcefully free even when I said I don’t need it?

2. Please check why you didn’t charge for 6 months. It is because I have called and informed you to stop the service and take back your free device. Why you didn’t take it back?

3. Did I ask you for binge services anytime? No. So, why should I pay you for which I did not request at all.

4. I have done recharge for 12 months+2 months offer on 6-oct-21. How come you can utilise this money for binge services without my consent? It is clearly a misuse of my money.
The content of the mail that I have sent to nodal office is appended below. I have sent 3 reminders but they didn’t respond.
Please answer to my queries point wise.
