I was using Tata Sky HD Set top box earlier and it was working fine. Recently I purchased a 4K tv and the quality of TATA SKY is not as expected. Hence I called a technician from TATA SKY and he recommended me to upgrade to TATA PLAY 4K Android Box. The cost is bit higher but he said, it will provide excellent visual and audio quality.
I purchased immediately from him and he installed. Post installation the quality of audio is very poor and he asked me to wait for 2 days. Later I went out station and checked today. Still the quality is very poor. I reported to customer care and they sent another technician.
The technician saw all the settings and he confirmed that TATA PLAY 4K box will not provide higher volume. So, it indicates I was informed with false promise by the TATA PLAY technician earlier. I want my money back from TATA PALY for the 4K box I purchased. It doesn’t make sense to compromise with the poor quality of audio.
