I request for the reversal of the cancellation fee charged on order no. 126289990864.
As per the response from Swiggy customer service (CS) email response – “We would like to inform you that by the time you cancelled the order, the restaurant had already started preparing the food. We will need to compensate the restaurant for the preparation of the order and the food wastage. Hence, we will not be able to reverse the cancellation fees.”
However I called the restaurant and I understand the above information is wrong and the restaurant has not amount for my order since the order was canceled in 5 mins. also confirmed even sometimes preparing maggi is difficult in 5 mins and how can someone tell food was prepared in 5 mins & food wastage. which proves that Swiggy Customer service response/ information provided to customers are fake.
I am just one of the customers who understood this, just imagine there is lacs of customers who places order online and cancelation every day- Swiggy is misguiding their customers in name of policy and looting money from public which is not small amount to imagine on reality.
I have filled a RTI & should get more clarity in 1 month from today. will share other details as well.
We need to ban Swiggy services completely and support other online platform who cares & is transparent to their customers.
My urge to investigate this issue closely & seriously, since Swiggy is misguiding the customers in name of food & policy and looting public money, this is a criminal offenses.
This issue has make me stressful in way Swiggy handled my concern which was poor Customers service, cheating & made me wait on call for 2hrs just to speak some senior but all where busy for 2 hours nor got call since 2 days. entire this process has made me stressful & unhappy the way its functions.
hence looking forward for all your support in sorting this issue to me or other public on money looting activity immediately & permanently.
