I was approached by an agent from Sunrise Matrimony who shared a few profiles on call. After selecting a suitable profile, they arranged a conference call with a person pretending to be the girl’s father and he wanted to meet us very soon . The way he spoke convinced me that he was genuine.
Trusting them, I paid ₹10,000 via [UPI/Bank Transfer] on [25/07/25] this is the amountthey asked me pay to get the parents number and register for 6months After the payment, they sent me the fake parent number who doesn’t picking up my call and blocked me that’s the scam they do to drag people in to register sending very good profiles as per our requirement which are fake and after signing with them they tell those parents are not interested and send the actual profiles which obviously not the standards you have paid premium for and they they don’t refund as well I have attached payment proofs as evidence after my incident i got to know that they are doing this with a lot of people.
This amounts to unfair trade practice, cheating, and mental harassment. I request the Forum to take strict action against the fraudulent company
