Text of Complaint by Moumita De:

I have been using Airtel Postpaid as my primary telecom provider for a long time and paying the generated bill on time with no dues. Yesterday, suddenly my connection was lost. At first, I waited for 1 hr and then tried to reach out to Airtel customer care. After a long, They told me that they can not help and instructed me to visit the nearby store, which is a far railway commute from my home. I tried to explain that being a mother of an infant it’s difficult to do so. However, I had to visit a store located at Hooghly, 61, Grand Trunk Rd, opposite Union Bank Of India, near Anjali Jewellers, Kalitala, Serampore, West Bengal 712201, India, and they gave me a vague reason, gave me a SIM, and assured me that within 4 hours it will be activated. But after waiting for the whole night and today morning, the connection was not restarted. As a result I had to visit the store again compromising my child’s regular essential routine. The store employees are not having a cooperative attitude and give vague reasons, not helping and harassing me. I am not able to do important financial transactions because of this. Airtel authority and store employees have to justify and compensate for my harassment and my child’s discomfort.
