I am filing a complaint regarding a job fraud carried out using the name of Shine Airways and two so-called aviation training academies: IMT Academy and Eros Academy.
I belong to a poor family and was looking for a job. One day I received around 14 continuous calls from Shine Airways. At first, I refused, but due to repeated calls, I finally agreed to listen.
They told me to share my documents and an aviation certificate. I said I didn’t have the certificate, so they suggested I do an aviation course. I told them I couldn’t afford it, but they said I could first pay ₹10,000, and the remaining amount could be deducted from my future salary once I started working.
They shared contact numbers of two academies: IMT Academy and Eros Academy, and passed on my number to them.
When I contacted IMT Academy, they asked me to pay ₹10,000. As the full payment didn’t go through, they suggested I pay ₹2,000 five times, which I did. They promised 3 months of training, live classes, and placement.
Instead of live training, they sent me pre-recorded videos — many of which were low-quality or repeated. Later, I was contacted by a girl who said she would guide me through the interview process, but I recognized her voice as the same woman from IMT Academy.
In the last week of April, they conducted a phone interview, which I was told I cleared. After that, they asked me to provide additional documents including a NOC (No Objection Certificate) from IMT Academy. When I requested the NOC, they told me I had to pay fees for the second month.
So again, I paid ₹2,000 five times (₹10,000 total) for the second month. This brings my total payment to ₹20,000.
Now they have scheduled a final interview for June 9, 2025, which I suspect is just a way to trap me into paying for the third month as well.
After researching, I found that the Shine Airways location they mentioned in Delhi does not exist. When I asked someone in that area, I was told there is no such company there.
