I had ordered two echo speakers (one 3rd gen and one 4th gen) on 5th August, 2023. I had made this order because of the sale that was going on then. On 7th August, I got the message that the item will not be delivered due to some problem. I contacted the customer care then with the chat support in app and I was told that the package has not passed the quality check and therefore will not be delivered. I wanted the speakers so I ordered them again on 7th August. But the speakers of my order on 5th August got delivered to me on 9th August. I accepted the delivery as the boxes were not tempered but when I opened the box, I saw to my surprise that there was no speaker in the box but a stone brick. This is when I started video recording the unboxing of the second box (as I had ordered 2 speakers) and the second box also had a stone brick which I have recorded. (I have attached the recorded video with this email). I immediately called customer care, lodged the complaint, they told me that they will do an investigation and I should wait for 4 days. I called them again on 13th August (after 4 days) and I was told that the investigation says that I am lying and I have received the speakers. Now, I can assure you that I did not lie. The video recording is genuine, my case is genuine. Please look into it.
Also, while ordering the speakers I had selected the option of “Link this device to amazon account to simplify setup”. I can see two echo speakers linked to my account in my alexa app but I did not get these speakers.
The video clearly shows me unboxing the box and finding a stone brick inside. I have also shared the video with amazon customer email ID but they replied me saying that they will resolve it in 4 working days. I followed up after 4 working days and they told me to wait for 4 more days. It does seem like they are gonna make me wait infinitely.
