Text of Complaint by Mrs Nilima Rai:

My name is Nilima Rai and I live in Nagpur city (Maharashtra). On 05/12/2021, I with my husband was travelling from Jammu to Nagpur via Delhi in Go First flight. We reached Delhi around 5.45 and we had to do the security check again for the next flight which was at 7:00pm., so there was hardly anytime for us to stay in the queue and order food. So we directly went to Departure Gate no 34 of Terminal 2 and ordered 1 unit of chicken tikka wrap (Rs 192), 2 units of bread pakoras (Rs 132) and 1 unit of samosa (Rs. 68) from CAFE ESPRESSO T2, HMSHOST HOSP SERVICE BHARATH PVT LTD, Terminal -2, IGI AIRPORT, NEW DELHI 110037.
Its GSTIN IS 07AADCH1592C1ZV FSSAI No. : 1002184000006
It was taken away and we had to eat that in the fight. When I had the first and a big bite of the bread
Pakora, I realised it was smelly and stale. I asked my husband to take a bite to be sure of it. He took a bite and spitted immediately. We realised that it was stale food that was served to us. I spitted too in the packet that they had packed the whole thing. It was extremely disappointing as we were hungry and after that, we couldn’t have a single thing as throughout the journey I felt like vomiting and suffered a headache. I would also like to mention that while buying I asked him, ( there were two men at the counter) if all that was fresh so he said: “of course we keep fresh food what do you want?” The staff was rude all the time as when I asked if everything that is mentioned on the menu is available, he said the same thing, What do you want? in an irritating tone.

By gods grace, I didn’t have to face any. medical emergency still I had to take a medicine for stopping vomiting and disprin for headache as I was on the plane already.

It is requested to address the issue as it’s happening at such a prime location where travellers from around the world come and go. It’s a matter of surprise that there is no check/ inspection on the food sold at the airport. The charges are beyond expectations, still, passengers spend with a hope to get the best food as it is at the airport. I am highly disappointed and hope to hear from you on this. Maybe other travellers will be saved from this exploitation.
