Subject: Complaint Regarding Non-Transfer of Vehicle Registration Certificate (RC) and Issuance of Traffic Challan
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding the non-transfer of the Registration Certificate (RC) of my vehicle, as well as the issuance of a traffic challan, despite the vehicle being sold over a year ago.
The details of the case are as follows:
1. Vehicle Information:
– Make: NISSAN
– Model: TERRANO AMT
– Registration Number: KA05MX2025
– Date of Sale: February 2023
2. Non-Transfer of RC:
I sold the aforementioned vehicle in February 2023 through a transaction facilitated by OLX Auto. However, despite repeated attempts and reminders, the RC transfer process has not been completed. This delay has caused significant inconvenience and uncertainty, as I am still legally responsible for the vehicle even though ownership has been transferred.
3. Issuance of Traffic Challan:
Additionally, I have recently received a traffic challan related to the aforementioned vehicle, which further highlights the urgency of resolving the RC transfer issue. It is unjust and unfair for me to be held liable for violations committed by the current owner due to the delay in transferring the RC.
Therefore, I kindly request the Consumer Court to intervene in this matter and facilitate the swift transfer of the RC to the new owner’s name. Furthermore, I seek appropriate action to rectify the unjust issuance of the traffic challan and ensure that I am not held accountable for violations committed by the current owner.
I am willing to cooperate fully with any further inquiries or proceedings related to this complaint.
