Text of Complaint by Kristy:

I purchased the PMP course through simplilearn for flexible night class options. The representative called me promptly after I purchased the course and explained the cancellation policy. I specifically asked and was assured I could cancel as long as i didnt take more than 2 classes and it was within that first week of the course start. My course wasn’t going to start for over 3 weeks due to me needing night classes and that was the first availabilty. That said, I attended the first class and it was terrible–I was unable to understand the instructor or the students, the student ‘participation’ was unruley and disruptive and the instructor was clearly frustrated by it. When I filed for a refund through the help center i was told I couldnt. I think this was extremely disingenuous because I specifically asked about this scenario occuring and was assured I could cancel. I showed them the screenshot of the phone call where the representative informed me I could cancel. I am not in the course, didn’t complete the class, and there is no way I could understand the teacher. I also am a single parent and disabled military veteran who was taking night classes to try and improve my job prospects with night classes–this is preying on victims.
