I received two consecutive calls today around 11:40 am from this number – +917605-001807 saying that I requested a number change on my simpl account and it was an automated IVR call from Simpl.
The call said that “you requested a number change, if you want the number to change please disconnect the call, if you did not put this request please press 1 and share the 4 digit otp, when I pressed 1, I got the 4 digit otp”. The IVR kept saying please enter the OTP if you do not wish to change your number.
The moment I entered the OTP just within 2 minutes my Simpl account got debited by Rs. 4735/-
