Incidence started with a series of missed calls from unknown numbers, when i return call all the numbers were not functioning ( not in service). Then one day one person talk to me pretending to be from SBI bank and told me that my atm card is blocked. if you want to unblock it please verify some of your details. he asked me my date of birth, and account number. after that he cut the phone, then i realized i made a mistake but thought that by this much information no one can steal anything from my account.
yesterday night at 1 am all of sudden i received a sms from my bank of a transaction of 20,000 rs. I immediately talked to customer care and freezed my account otherwise scammers might have emptied my account. Today morning all my sim got deactivated, then i contacted to airtel service provider and i was shocked to know that it hasbeen ported to some other number.

I have registered a legal complaint with “Quest legal services”, and they already freezed the accounts in which money has gone. Thanks to the quest legal team for a prompt action.
Friends we, watchful, it is rising scam in India. I was lucky enough that i lost only 20k. Plz be alert.
