Hello Team,

Hope this email meets you well.

“My name is Sameena Mohd Mobin Qureshi, and I’m writing to let you know that my mobile number, +91 9870054582, has mysteriously stopped displaying the network. I haven’t experienced this problem despite spending the last two years away from India. I intend to keep using this number, so I put a year’s worth of data in Oct. 2022 to keep it active. I recently requested an OTP from my sibling, but she informed me that the number was not functional. I called customer service, and they suggested that I send an email instead. My banking transactions have frozen because I am unable to access this number, so I urgently need it”

On March 4th, 2023, I sent Airtel the email mentioned above, but I never received a response. In order to transfer the authorization to my Mother and reactivate the sim, my sister and mother visited the Parel Airtel gallery more than 5–6 times with all the necessary documentation. They were urged to bring something else each time by the personnel, including Manager Paresh Singasane ([email protected]). I phoned Paresh one day out of frustration and requested him to let me know all the documents he needs from me to email him in order to process this request so that I could stop putting off processing it and wasting my time and the time of my family. He gave me the list and informed me that I could stop there. I followed his directions and delivered the hard copies to his office in Parel, as well as sending many emails to [email protected] with the documents he advised me to send. When I messaged Paresh to check and see what was going on after waiting more than 20 days without hearing back, he answered, “He cannot do anything from his side and that my mother ONCE AGAIN visit Lower parel branch with the docs.” Paresh has all of my documents, both hard copies and electronic copies, so I asked him to sort them all and submit them for me because Ramadan is currently taking place and my mother cannot visit stores while fasting. But he didn’t pay attention and kept nagging me to do it. Because he has been doing this for the past 1.5 months, I am confident that even if I send my mother there with the documents, he would make up another justification and instruct her to take another action. My mother and brother even went to the Andheri office for aid, but they received no response there either. Can you imagine the level of irritation I’m feeling?

I have repeatedly explained to Paresh that I need help since I have unfinished business with my house loan paperwork, a banking transaction, and the SIP procedure. Because of this and the fact that all of my work is still in India, I am quite depressed.

Please note that this portal is not allowing me to attach the email proofs and all the screenshot of the chat with manager Paresh. For more information, let me the email id so that I can forward them all.

Just wanted to draw attention to the fact that when the family visited the Andheri office, they observed that many people were waiting in line for the same thing (a corrupt sim), but without assistance, and that they were being told to buy new 5G sims for 50 rs. It appears that they are using this strategy to make money while giving all consumers 5G SIMs.

I beg you to kindly do something about this and help me to reactivate my sim as soon as possible. As the service is next level PATHETIC, please assist me with porting my SIM! In addition, I want Airtel to reimburse me for the time I lost on this process and for my melancholy.
