Text of Complaint by Aditya Chauhan:

I recently ported my sim from Airtel Postpaid to Jio Prepaid. When I went to the Jio store to port my sim card they told me to do an advance payment of 300 rupees to Airtel which I did and they told me that no further payment would be required to be done in future and that this payment was more than sufficient and to recharge my Jio sim card after its activation which i did of 3 months.
Now after a month later I constantly keep getting messages from Jio that there is an overdue payment of Airtel of 80 rupees that need to be done but I can’t find any link to make that payment and I cannot do it online because I do not have my Airtel account no.
Now I cannot go to a store directly because I live in a rural area in Himachal Pradesh from where Jio store or Airtel store is minimum 100 kms away.
But still I manage to send my friend living in Chandigarh to go to a store and make the payment for me. And after he does the payment and sends me the receipt I called on 199 and confirm my payment details with provided person.
Now after that my number gets blocked and I keep calling your customer care people and all of them say to me to go to the nearby Jio store. Now when I finally manage to get to a store they tell me that I have to follow a process for validation again from the beginning and do my recharge also again.
Now please help me dealing with this issue online because I cannot to another store and hear that all my resources time and money has gone waste and me porting my sim to Jio was a total blunder.
