i am Anshu Bhalotia and my complaint is that yesterday suddenly my sim card stopped working and it crashed so today i visited an airtel service center located at Ghod Dod Road, surat, Gujarat. And i asked them about the problem and its solution so he asked me that the person in whose name the card is registered have to come and do the needful procedure but the system showed all wrong name if my father which is Hare Murari Bhalotia but the system showed with all the spelling mistakes and wr have been using this sim for 15 to 18 years and we do have submitted our documents more than thrice and still the system shows incorrect name and now their is only one solution to get my sim working is that i switch to postpaid and pay a bill of ₹450 per month for 3 months and then i can switch back to prepaid. And recently i had done my recharge so basically that money won’t be refunded neither my balance and i have very minimal usage so for me 450 is a total waste but if i want a new sim i have to do all the above procedures. Can u imagine how many customers they have and if they continue to do this kind of issues to customer they would me making a whooping amount of money without even providing the services. And not just this the mental stress is also involved as today when I visited the store they didnt even had prepaid card available and they asked to come after 5-6 days. That totally means that if u have urgency u have to switch to postpaid so that they can charge atleast ₹450 per month and in prepaid I recharge for ₹399 for 80 days. Just see the difference though for some its not a big amount but its about service and data entry issue and also a total waste of money. Which being a responsible citizen and student i feel is against my ethics.
I hope to get the justice and a quick solution to my issue.
