I had signed up for TATA Sky’s ANNUAL HD package in November 2018. Post the TRAI ruling for all DTH subscribers to offer channel based rates, the entire cost of my annual package was revised upwards. To ensure I don’t lose out on number of days in my annual package many movie/news/entertainment channels were made unavailable in my account. All these channels were available prior to the TRAI judgment.
I complained to TAT Sky about this.
I was asked to oblige without any solution. I had to manually pick channels based on my liking. However this is totally unacceptable to me as a customer. Why should my household get fewer channels than before? if fewer total channels to be viewed then as consumer either my annual subscription rate should be reduced or validity of my annual package should be increased.
