This Company mxplayer.in is an OTT media platform. I felt that they were playing too many ads on the free content. Then I saw they were offering an Ad free subscription called MXGold for Rs299/- a year. I paid the amount and activated the Adfree subscription however I was still bombarded with advertisements on all the content I saw. They do not have a greviance redressal mechanism where I can speak or chat with any customer representative. No phone numbers to contact. There is only one email id. I have sent a mail to them now I have no other option except to hope that they might read or respond to this.
Please note their notification for Adfree subscription simply mentions “Go Ad free”. They do not tell you that ad free subscription is valid on only select few content and if so then which content. Only after money is paid they reveal this.
There is no refund option available. This is a company collecting payment based on false information which constitutes a fraud according to me.
