I received a call from someone claiming to be from Shine.com, stating that I needed to pay ₹3,000 to activate their services. I specifically asked whether there would be any additional charges, and they assured me there wouldn’t be.

However, after making the payment, I was contacted by a so-called “relationship manager” who told me that verification of my education and work experience was mandatory. They asked for additional payments — ₹4,000 and nearly ₹10,000 for each verification, which I unfortunately paid.

Shortly after, they insisted that I needed to have my resume professionally rewritten by a hired writer and sent an invoice for ₹15,000. I refused to pay and told them I was no longer interested in the services. They kept trying to convince me by framing it as an “investment” and promising job-related services within 7 to 10 days.

When I still refused and didn’t pay, I blocked their number. Later, I received another call from a different number. This time, they claimed that those additional services were not actually mandatory and asked me to share my educational documents and salary slips to complete the verification process. Their inconsistency and frequent changes in information have raised serious doubts about the legitimacy of the entire operation.

Now, I no longer wish to proceed with any of their services and requested a refund, but they told me they don’t have a refund policy. Given these misleading tactics and constant pressure for payments, I’m very skeptical and uncomfortable sharing any more personal information with them.
