Hi Team –

This is regarding the very poor network and it’s not wrong to say there is no airtel network inside our villa’s in our area wherein all residents are troubled and airtel customers are not able to make or receive calls, use the internet.

I have been an airtel postpaid customer (3 connections) for years now and this comes as a surprise to me that an area like this in Bangalore would still have no network when mobile operators nowadays are providing connectivity all across the nation and it has reached even the villages/rural areas. Please note, all residents in this area are dependent on other mobile operators and do not appreciate Airtel being reluctant about providing services in the area. Can your team please explain why “Airtel Open Network” & “Project Leap” was started when the services are so horrible even in a part of Bangalore district where working professionals are residing and rely on mobile networks too alongside wifi for calls/data etc. I registered a complaint on 18th May (Service Request Number : 31-4065362925398) but no one from Airtel cares to follow up and resolve this network issue.

I have attached a screenshot from the Airtel open network portal which is displaying wrong information and indicating an excellent network whereas the ground reality of the network is horrible inside our houses. We do not get anything on the ground or first floors of our Villa’s and on the terrace too it’s only one bar that shows up in our handsets. I have attached a screenshot from my handset too showing almost no network bars captured from ground and first floor.

We pay for the services and expect a good service in return – We are not asking for moons and stars but an excellent service which is committed to us at the time of purchase. Please take this on priority and work towards a resolution ASAP.
