Text of Complaint by ANAND BALAPPA GHIWARI:

Dear Sir,

I am Electrical Engineer running my small business all over the world as a technical supporting Engineer for their projects.

I am platinum customer of Airtel & I am using from day one. The service was ok but there was network issue more than 8 months in my area. We raised the compliant regarding this but they replied us it will take some more time.

We understand and we have given time to Airtel resolve the issue.

The above matter is for your reference we always understand others problem but Airtel not supported during this pandemic situation.

I am international traveller and I use International roaming packs with Airtel for service support to other customers. During my last visit to Saudi Arabia from 11th FEB 2020 to 11th MARCH 2020, the roaming service was active till 27th FEB 2020 midnight as per Saudi Arabia local time.

I called Airtel international toll free no.9910099100 on 28th FEB 2020 at 21.41 times to raise complaint. They tried from their side but no result. Again I called them on 3rd March 2020 at 16.24 and 4th March 2020 at 21.10 final they told me that the SIM is failed you have to take new SIM. From 28th FEB to 12th MARCH I lose my communication and business as well.

After resuming my connection by new SIM on 12th MARCH I communicated to CC no. 121 I requested Airtel to discount the bill which I have not used fully, but there is no response from Airtel, even though after many time communication to CC no.121.

My concern was not to pay the bill amount, discount the amount.

For your information in this pandemic situation again they have barred my DATA and outgoing calls from 7th APRIL. I tried to reach 121 no one available to answer. On 7th I send mail to CC and then I received call. The person talking to me he was explaining that service will not be resumed unless clear the due.

I have explained him that it is not my fault; from 12th MARCH to 7th APRIL no one resolved the billing issue. And he told me that will remove roaming pack charges and will charge as per the normal rate it will be approximately Rs.60000/- to 70000/- (its like blackmailing).

After all this I made Rs.9000/- payment on 17th April but service was not resumed. I was receiving call for payment but regarding my complaint services are not available.

After making balance payment on 25th April 2020 the services was resumed. I mean that even several follow ups from our side during COVID19 situation after making Rs. 9000/- also they have not resumed my services.

In this pandemic situation without communication I struggled lot not because of my fault.

My request you to please take action on Airtel and ask them to compensate the losses during these periods.
Our claim is Rs.10, 000, 00/-
Immediate action highly appreciated.
