After keeping the same SIM card for over 10 years with no issue, I was suddenly threatened with disconnection last week if I did not submit a visa. I am an OCI card holder so I submitted that both online and at the nearest Airtel office. Still they disconnected my service and the local manager refuses to answer my calls to update me. My online banking and many services have stopped due to this issue but Airtel will do nothing. Of course I have paid for a monthly package calls/data, yet they refuse to reconnect.
