Team Airtel ,
Would like to admit my mistake of requesting a plan change at your airtel store (Prabhadevi ) .I have been using airtel for more than 5 years now .
here is what happened …
I placed request to change for plan in last week of Feb 2019.where i will pay around 600 for primary number and additional number will not charged .as asked i paid whatever bill amount was asked to pay with the commitment it wll be done without any hassle .
one fine day in the month of march my another number stops working without any SMS or call ..for almost 24 hours…and gets converted into new plan…fine ..its done….
now i am under the assumption of my both the numbers are in the plan which i asked (my Mistake )
here the interesting part now …i get a message to pay the bill …inspite of it was told ..i wont be getting bill for it ..its on auto debit…i have paid anyways …then i called prabhadevi airtel store and guess what …its the Eureka Moment …i have been asked to pay 560 rs …where my bill shows ZERO …in their systems it shows i have to pay this bill ..ok …Paid …and again …store rep says i still owe 30 rs…otherwise they cant transfer my account to the new plan…such a big amount …which is not yet billed to me …wow…
ok…fine paid …now here the where the world war #III starts….on 23 April…i get Suprise !!! My card is now Prepaid !!! and i cant make calls neither my data is working …somehow i managed to call airtel store rep (you can check the interactions in the CRM ) and i was advised to wait for half day and it will be done …ok..am waiting …waiting …waiting …
my day is lost …i called airtel rep again…and here is the Surprise …i have send my aadhar card details over the w app…how secure airtel is …Really commendable …and one more request i get from the store …they need my photo to fill the form again…
now my question is should i leave all my priorities and follow up with airtel folks ????
i had to send someone to store to submit my photos …ok its done…this was completed on 24th April …now i am in the hope …like am stranded in Sahara desert and waiting SOS to help me …i called airtel store …and i get a confirmation…within 15 minutes it will be activated…such a sigh of relief….ok…waiting ..waiting …its evening time…again i called airtel store …i get to know my form is just submitted …it will be done in 30 min…ok…take a deep breath …relax…
now here the end of the war !!
around 8 PM IST (24 April ) i get a message :
Dear Kalpesh , Service on your Airtel number XXXXXX will be suspended for 30 Minutes while we upgrade your number from prepaid to postpaid .
hey Airtel …its been almost 13.5 hours and still my number is suspended …just let me know are you guys using clocks to check time without batteries …30 minutes is equal to 1800 seconds …
now i have to go to your store and meet your folks to check when will they wish to activate my services …
I regret and feel so annoyed …in this era …where cell phones (with network ) plays such an important role and i almost without service for 3 days now …
I promise ..i will be porting out my 4 airtel connections to another service provider.
I thank you for your services and making me go through all this …
