Hi,
I am with Airtel Delhi network with family plan 799 since last 1 year and have been using their network individually for a lot of time. 3 days back I called their customer service and asked if they have any option to switch primary customer to the additional customer and vice versa so that my wife can be the primary customer for the family plan. I told her that will be going for 999 plan but only if there is an option. The process for porting in a number is very dice as the third add on number that I was going to add for for Jammu zone. The Airtel representative told me that they do have the option to switch the additional customer to be the primary one but never informed that if I wanted to change my mind then I can’t go back to 799 family plan. While placing the port request the Airtel representative in Jammu messed up and told that he has already ported the number where the request was supposed to be done from Delhi. Now when the third number that I wanted to add now has no option to be added and has been locked for a period of 3 months so I’m stuck & will have to pay extra for nothing at all. Now as the first representative confirmed that this can be done so I have been separated from the plan and Airtel not helping to add number back to family plan 799 so i have to pay extra. I don’t want to pay anything extra to anyone. Just because I am a common man so such big organizations don’t have any right to take money out of my pocket because of mis-leading information shared from their end. I want this resolved and Airtel has already backed out from this and are offering nothing at all.
And also… I have been facing network issues in my apartment since I shifted here since September 2019 & have raised complaints a lot of times but Airtel has done nothing at all. I have to use Jio network to have a prepaid SIM so that I can call my family when I am at Home. If I am paying money to Airtel for their services then why should I take another connection for some other network. They are highly responsible for my reaction on this. It has been 9 months me and my wife haven’t been able to use Airtel services that much when we have unlimited family plan. I don’t have any other way out on this other than reaching out to court. Please do help me.
Thanks & Regards,
