This company Sureka Forbes is an imposter company. When I registered for a service on my Eureka Forbes App, I got a call the next day from them asking for an appointment to come service my Aquaguard and said they are from Eureka Forbes.
A technician named “98 Praveen” came home, serviced the Aquaguard and charged me 7500 INR for a 2-year AMC and said I will get the invoice soft copy later.
When I received the soft copy it read as Sureka Forbes and not Eureka Forbes.
A couple of days later, I got a call from Eureka Forbes for a service visit( the original company), I informed them that I had it done along with an AMC, to which they asked me to share the invoice details. When they checked they informed me that this is a local company and not associated with Eureka Forbes at all and I was cheated.
I called Sureka Forbes and then a lady gave me vague answers for a refund and said she will connect with her manager and call but that never happened.
In the meantime I called Eureka Forbes genuine technician(who also showed his ID card), to investigate the service, to which we found they used fake filters which weren’t even licensed and showed a purity level way below the recommended level. This is scary as unfiltered water could have gotten us all sick at home, especially with a new mother in the house.I finally had to spend money to get the original filters installed.
I want a refund from them of 7500 or else I will have to take it up legally.
