I was trying to purchase a product https://www.amazon.in/Forza-Horizon-4-Ultimate-4K-Download-Delivery/dp/B099642Y1T/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=forza+horizon+4+pc&qid=1627154637&sprefix=forza&sr=8-1
when i noticed that I’m unable to select address for delivery. This being a digital delivery, i ensured that my digital address was updated as well. For some reason, Amazon was unable to pick the address.
Next thing i did was to contact the chat support team who shared a link to contact the seller through Amazon Seller Support and assured multiple times that my issue would be resolved. When i contacted seller support, i was given a WhatsApp number to make further contact and i proceeded with the same. The seller was selling a pirated copy of the product mentioned which i had no clue about until the seller took 1299rs outside of Amazon as payment for product.
This listing from Amazon is a scam because seller is giving out pirated copies of this game and the aspect to be noted is that, the listing is on top of Amazon suggestions when we type ‘Forza Horizon 4 pc” in the main search bar.
Support team of Amazon is of no help because they just either disconnect the chat after hearing my concern or ask me to report the seller. I can report. No issues. But my question is, who’s going to cover the monetary and mental damages i’ve had to face through Amazon.
