We have encountered a fraudulent store named ‘ShopBasicsX’ operating on the Shopify platform. The website in question is https://shopbasicsx.myshopify.com/
Unfortunately, my mother fell victim to a deceptive brand that utilized Facebook Ads to target her. She placed an order for a blue suit from the aforementioned store, “ShopBasicsX” (http://shopbasicsx.myshopify.com), but instead received an empty lotion bottle without any labels or branding.
The payment was made through Cash on Delivery (COD), and she paid INR 1300 to Flipkart’s eKart Logistics. However, she was not allowed to inspect the package before making the payment. Upon opening the package, it was discovered that it only contained a basic lotion bottle devoid of any labels or branding.
Attempts to reach out to the brand have been futile, as they have provided no valid contact information or address. Furthermore, there is no registered listing of their company in the MCA (Ministry of Corporate Affairs) in India.
