I received a call, where the caller claimed to be from ‘Naukri.com’. She insisted that my profile was sent to her from the cancellation department of Naukri.com and they were blacklisting my profile because I did not respond to emails from companies. I didn’t receive any emails at all to respond to. She added to say that I will not be able to use my profile for the next 6 to 8 years which is not good for my career. I began cross-questioning the lady on the other side of the phone, and as a response she became defensive and said that a challan of Rs. 48,000 has been issued and I have to visit the court for the same and before I could respond to anything, she hung up on me. To top it all, I don’t even have an account with Naukri.com but with Foundit jobs.
