I got a call from an unknown number on Jan 4th 2020, this person said that he is from a company called The Pivot and said that there is a Data entry job available and I can earn money by doing it…

As I am a student and have taken loans for my study I thought maybe this will help me financially and agreed for it…

He asked me to send my details like name, email id, address and aadhar card, which I sent to him…

Later he said that after registration I will get a username and password which I have to login and can start working…

This person clearly mentioned that this process can be done on Android phone and not to worry about terms and conditions as it’s a reputed company so I trusted him and I logged in using my phone…

But as soon as I did that I got a mail saying that my account is blocked because I have done mobile login…

I tried contacting the customer care and explained my problem to which no one responded…

After few days I got a call from a representative (lawyer) of the company saying that if I don’t pay the fine he will file a case against me in court for ‘Breach of agreement’ when I tried explaining it to him he spoke very rudely and cut the call…

Now I got a message that a case has been registered against me…

This is such a blatant scam done by The Pivot company, targeting unsuspecting individuals and trying to make money of them…

Kindly look into this matter and do the needful…
