I joined the scaler academy for a course on upskilling for a period of 1 year at the maximum in May 2024. The course fee was mentioned to be approximately Rs. 3250000. I paid a down payment of Rs.20000 and was tied with a financial company for the rest of the course fees. I’m paying an EMI of Rs.12250 from June 2024 till date(April 2025). The refund policy is within 14 days of the course commencement. But after 7/8 months, I’ve decided not to stay in this industry and hence my upskilling is not needed. I requested them to cancel my course and refund the balance amount. But they refused saying its not in their policy to refund. Instead asked me to refer a student so that they can process the refund. I referred a friend of mine to join the course and my friend has joined in the first week of March 2025. Currently, my friend has enrolled in the course and continuing. But when I asked for my refund, they’re not giving it. What best can I do to get my money back.
