Hello Team,
I am buying a flat in chennai (which is under construction) I was told that when you take the loan property insurance is mandatory & they ask me to sign the documents. when I enquire about this processes, this is applicable 1. post registration of property 2. Post construction is completed. But they taken money from my loan account on 3 March 2023. There is no SMS or e-mail or hard copy of the insurance sent to me. When I enquire with SBI home loan team they said we will refund the money. I want file the complaint on the following

1. How can SBI General insurance can sell the home loan insurance (when the flat is under construction)
2. How come with out SMS / E-Mail or Hardcopy of insurance they can take the money from me and create an insurance account for me?
3. Now they are telling I will re-fund the money but it will take time. How come a system can sell or cancel the insurance policy with out any communication with customer?
4. When I call the customer care to check the policy number they said they dont have any policy on my name.
5. After the fight with the Home loan / SBI General insurance they shared this policy details with me. Attaching the details
