Hi,
This is regarding the SBI credit card I use. For the month of November I am having a due amount of 14982/- with due date as 6th December in which one order was for Flipkart with amount 8148/-. I have cancelled that order and the full refund has received to my account on 29th November. I paid the balance due amount of 6834/- on 4th December. So there was no due amount as of 6th December on my card. To my suprise, they have charged a late fee of 750/- and a IGST of 135/- on this card. So a total amount of 885/- has been debited to my account on 10th December.
The customer care person is telling I have not paid the minimum amount of 9142/- on this card as on due date. That’s why the late fee has been charged. I feel this is very illegal to charge the late fee even after getting the full due amount well before due date.
Please help me to get late fee charges refund.
